The Brahms and Schubert in particular are fantastic. The disks have good sound

Radu Lupu is definitely not your average virtuoso pianist, and sometimes has very interesting interpretations of well known pieces.

I learned from YouTube that Lupu is a fine pianist.

Years ago Lupu made a poor recording of two piano music with Murray Perahia, a very great pianist.
